But all that has passed is but a prologue. Several years ago, Han Fei led the team members of the branch company to set sail in a grand manner, casting a net on the shimmering sea surface. Under the sun, he carried the sea fish he had caught, full of youth, confidence and brilliance, brimming with expectations for the future.

The camera pans back to the New Year of 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic was rampant, and children were preparing intensively for the entrance examination from primary to junior high school. After a talk with a leader and a transfer order, Han Fei resolutely left Zhoushan, where he had been working for many years, and came to Shenzhen to transform into a full-process engineering consulting professional. In a new city, an unfamiliar environment and a brand-new field, Han Fei, at the age of 45, embarks on an extraordinary path of progress. How much courage does this require?

Others might be nervous in their hearts, but he is Han Fei. He came to Jiangnan for an internship at the end of 2004 and officially joined Jiangnan in early 2005. This year marks his 15th year at Jiangnan. From the on-site supervision of pile foundation shafts to the individual acceptance of each floor and household, and then to the inspection of weld quality in high-altitude steel structures, Han Fei has gradually laid a solid foundation. From a supervisor to a project director and then to a chief consulting engineer, he has become the forgers of one high-quality project after another: the Sheraton Hotel won the Luban Award, the Greentown Wynn Hotel won the Silver Award of the National Excellent Project Award, and many projects have maintained the provincial cup and strived for the Luban Award... The hardships he had endured and the setbacks he had experienced were all casually brushed aside by him. He said that his ideals and aspirations were well realized during his youth because he grew up along with Jiangnan Management. He said he was very lucky and always got good projects, but in fact, opportunities only favor those who are always well-prepared.

Nowadays, standing at the forefront of China's reform and opening up and the most dynamic economy - Shenzhen, it has taken on the heavy responsibility of the Shenzhen Pengcheng Laboratory's full-process engineering consulting project. The greater the challenge, the greater the opportunity. Han Fei is well aware that in the face of another opportunity for transformation in life, he must devote 200% of his passion, keep making efforts, and make up for his lack of talent through diligence in order to keep up with the surging tide of dramatic changes in the engineering consulting industry and achieve new heights in his life.

 When talking about going south to Shenzhen, Han Fei said that it was because of a conversation with the company's leaders. At the end of 2019, when Han Fei went to the headquarters to report on his work, when talking about future development, Han Fei seemed conflicted and confused. Indeed, in Zhoushan, Han Fei has been rooted for over a decade. His family and connections are all here, and he has gradually begun to accept a stable life. I have been engaged in supervision projects for 16 years. Although I had already started to get involved in the full-process engineering consulting project during the company's training and had some interest in it, I have never been able to take that step. But Chairman Li's words woke him up: "Without pressure, where would the motivation come from? You are in your forties, at the prime age for your career. Why don't you try something new?" Now, the engineering consulting industry is in a period of intense transformation, with numerous opportunities. If one does not take the initiative to seek change and adapt, they will sooner or later be eliminated by the industry. Don't confine your vision to a low level and a small space. Go out, see the outside world, and establish a broad perspective and a higher vision. Only in this way can you have greater development space and firm belief and determination.

These words completely strengthened Han Fei's belief in going to Shenzhen. Afterwards, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the defense preparations for the first phase of the Pengcheng Laboratory project and eventually won the bid successfully. Despite the still severe epidemic situation, he greatly contributed to the company's business operations.

However, winning the bid for the project is merely the first step in a long and arduous journey. The first phase of the Pengcheng Laboratory project in Shenzhen was carried out by a newly formed team. At the beginning of the project, they were under tremendous pressure, and working overtime and staying up late continuously became the norm. Hu, the new engineer who arrived at the project, reported for duty at 8 o 'clock. Han Fei briefly explained a few words and then went to handle the team's affairs. At 2 a.m., the work on the project was still unfinished. Engineer Hu was so exhausted that he fell asleep on the desk. When he was woken up, he looked at his watch and exclaimed in amazement, "Mr. Han, is this the state of your project?" Han Fei asked, "Are you scared?" " He looked completely bewildered, rubbed his sleepy eyes and couldn't help but exclaim: "Before coming to Jiangnan, I had heard of the Jiangnan spirit. Now I have truly understood it. From now on, I will definitely keep up with the work pace of the project department and never hold it back." Han Fei led his team to demonstrate to the property owners through their actions that Jiangnan Management does not engage in empty talk. It is rigorous and pragmatic, strives for progress, is goal-oriented and value-oriented, meets the needs of the property owners, and creates value for customers. This is the greatest pursuit of Jiangnan Management. It is precisely this working attitude that enables the owner to feel the spirit and drive of the project team managed by Jiangnan when working, thus establishing a good relationship of mutual trust and support. The owner will take the initiative to understand and help the project department, and solve problems together with the project department.

While in Shenzhen, Han Fei's greatest concern was his small home in Zhoushan. He said that he felt a deep sense of apology towards his wife and children. During the transition from primary to junior high school for his child, he couldn't be by his side to witness this milestone in his child's growth, which also left his wife bearing a lot of family pressure alone. However, Han Fei hopes that he can become a role model for his child on the road of life. He said, "I hope that one day, when I hold my child's little hand and walk past a large building, I can proudly tell him that this is a work that your father has accomplished with all his might, care and hard work. Let your child fully experience your sense of pride at that moment and understand that every achievement is not obtained for no reason; it requires hard work and effort."

Looking back on Han Fei's growth journey, his starting point was not high and his foundation was not solid. Whether it is a junior college to undergraduate program or a professional qualification examination; Whether it was a promotion or a career transition, he has, through his own arduous efforts, seized the sails of life and forged ahead with an energetic and positive spirit, braving the wind and waves!
