Dongyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital was founded in 1952 during the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is a modern secondary grade-A hospital integrating medical treatment, health care, scientific research and education, and community health. It has four community health service stations under its jurisdiction and is now a closely cooperative hospital of Hangzhou Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A semi-close cooperative hospital of Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University.

The construction project of the health care building of Dongyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital is located at No. 49, Wuning East Road, Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. The project highlights the construction concept of "people-oriented", and in accordance with the design concepts of doctor-patient separation, high efficiency and convenience, informatization, and green ecology, it provides citizens with efficient, high-quality and convenient multi-level medical and health care services. The project covers an area of 6,268 square meters, with a construction area of 21,000 square meters. Among them, the underground part has a construction area of 3,405 square meters and is divided into eleven floors above ground and two floors underground. After the project is completed, it will be conducive to optimizing the layout of medical resources in the urban area, making up for the "shortcomings" of maternal and child health care facilities, and effectively improving the conditions for the public to seek medical treatment. It will surely further promote the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of the medical and health care industry in our city.
