The year 2020 is a milestone year marking the beginning of a new journey to fully build a modern socialist society following the completion of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and it holds significant historical importance. In addition, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world order is undergoing a major transformation unseen in a century. July 1, 2020 marked the 99th birthday of the Communist Party of China. In the new era and on the new journey, in the face of new changes, contemporary Communist Party members are entrusted with more arduous and glorious missions and tasks.

In accordance with the work requirements of the notice issued by the Party Committee of the Construction Commission on organizing and carrying out the "Celebrating July 1st" series of activities, on June 21st, all the Party members of Jiangnan Management attended the "Celebrating July 1st - Party Secretary's Party Lesson and 2019 Annual Outstanding Commendation Conference" held by the Committee of the Hangzhou Association of Whole Process Engineering Consulting and Supervision of the Communist Party of China.

The meeting was presided over by Comrade Yao Shengzhong, a member of the Party Committee of the Association. First, Comrade Yan Haijun, the Party Committee's discipline inspection commissioner, led all the Party members to review the oath of joining the Party and solemnly take the oath. Subsequently, Ru Guanrong, the deputy secretary of the association's Party committee, read out the "Decision on Commending Advanced Party Branches, Outstanding Communist Party Members and Outstanding Party Affairs Workers in 2019". The Hangzhou Metro Branch of our company has been honored with the title of "Advanced Party Branch". Six individuals, namely Chai Chaoli, Wang Daodong, Zeng Chuihai, Zhang Shuying, Qian Yingyu and CAI Liping, have been awarded the title of "Outstanding Party Member", while three others, Lu Qiao, Xu Sijie and Wang Yangliu, have been honored as "Outstanding Party Affairs Workers".

At the meeting, Comrade Wang Junfei, the secretary of the Hangzhou Metro Branch, spoke as a representative of the advanced branch. On behalf of the branch, he expressed gratitude to the association's Party Committee for the honor bestowed and shared the highlights of the Hangzhou Metro Branch's work and the work plan for 2020. He stated that the original aspiration and mission of subway builders is to construct high-quality public welfare projects, meet the people's needs for a better travel experience, and enable the general public to take safe and convenient subways as soon as possible. Driven by a strong sense of responsibility, the Party branch of Hangzhou Metro will continue to broaden its thinking and carry out more extensive and in-depth Party building cooperation, and fully promote the construction of metro projects with a new cooperation pattern.

Comrade Li Jianjun, the president of the Hangzhou Association of Whole Process Engineering Consulting and Supervision, the Party Secretary and chairman of the company, delivered a speech. First of all, he extended his warm congratulations to the advanced Party branches, outstanding Party members and outstanding Party affairs workers who were commended. He said that the significance of re-taking the oath of joining the Party is profound. The oath of joining the Party is the mission and original aspiration of a Communist Party member. We should constantly enhance our sense of responsibility and mission in our work. In the new era closest to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, all Party members should give full play to their advanced nature and vanguard and exemplary role, shine and contribute in their respective positions, and lead the project department and the surrounding comrades to achieve greater success. Since its establishment two years ago, the Party Committee of the association has carried out all kinds of work in a lively and colorful manner. In 2020, during this special period when the profound changes unseen in a century are deeply intertwined with the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, all Party members and cadres should, under the leadership of the Party Committee of the association, rise to the challenges, have an unwavering sense of mission and responsibility, and use the role of the Party organization as a fighting fortress to promote the transformation and upgrading as well as high-quality development of the industry and enterprises.

Finally, Comrade He Yigang, the Party Secretary of the association, delivered a Party lesson titled "Adding Luster to the Party Flag and Welcoming the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party with Concrete Actions".
